Hi all. I have a 2003 XKR that needs a new radiator. I ordered the part but I was wondering if anyone who has already do one has any tips. It looks like you remove the plastic cover. Does that AC condenser or the oil cooler need to be replaced at the same time? Thanks

The transmission fluid cooler is an integral part of the radiator assembly on my '97 XK8, so essentially you are replacing both your radiator and transmission fluid cooler in one go. Because of tight installation proximity, the A/C refrigerant pipes on mine had to be loosened in order to make room to remove the leaking radiator, thus calling for a vacuum expunge and refrigerant refill after installing the new radiator.

Are you equipped to do this job in your home garage?
