Wonder what they would figure my '03 with only 60K miles is worth???

I may need to pay a visit to see if I can find out what they are smoking and where to buy some!!

 

I'm thinking that someone at the dealership really likes driving the car and they really don't want to sell it.

That's funny, but I have seen others almost as bad. I just paid $8K for my '97, and am seeing ads that make me look like a drunken sailor on liberty, like the one in SC for $3500 ask.

 

I paid $6k for my 97 with 75500 miles.
Asking prices are not the same as selling price. Kelly Blue Book price for the 97 advertised in Washington is $6039.

 

The ask/buy price seems to be miles apart on these...more than many other cars. Probably because they are so dang beautiful and owners can't see them being worth less than $10K. Heck, the body alone should be worth $10K....and will be someday. The drivetrain, if maintained, is very nice and certainly worth a minimum of $5K. I would just as soon drive mine over a cliff than sell it for less than $9K after fixing all the normal items that need update or wear out over time. Unless the drivetrain has over 150K on it these cars should all be worth at least $9k (IF maintained properly).

OTH: I traded messages with an Ebay seller of a '98 with 107K on the clock who thinks it's worth $12-14,000. And, he doesn't know if the CCTs have ever been changed.
