Last night my rear view mirror decided to flop and not hold it's position. It seems some small pieces shattered off the back side of the mirror, I found part of one, small black plastic ring from what I can tell. This is not he loose bracket issue, but rather the pivot on the mirror has lost it's friction.
Any thoughts other than complete replacement?
