Red antifreeze

Red antifreeze
I drained the radiator on my 2000 XK8 today, and the coolant is red/purple.
Has anyone got any idea what it could be, since it doesn't seem to conform to either the orange long life, or green spec?
And while i'm here, the JTIS states the requirement for a special tool, namely a "quick fit connector release tool", id number E36394, for releasing the fuel pressure. On some cars i gather this tool may be situated between pipes from the header tank to the front of the engine, but my car only has one pipe from the header tank, and no tool.
Am i looking in the wrong place, or are these tools purchaseable from a Jaguar dealer?
Thanks in advance for any assistance.
