Default Removing factory radio

I am seriously considering installing a TranzItBLU HF module in my car. To do so I need to get access to the antenna lead at the back of the radio. How do you get the radio out ? I does not appear to have a "pin release" like Ford radios.

Or is there a way to get at the antenna without removing the radio ?

You can get to it in the trunk, right side by the ant. It's a euro connector so a regular banana style plug will not work.

You may prefer Jandreu's suggestion.

If it does indeed involve tearing out the entire console then I shall indeed go to the boot

It does. Not really that hard, more of a PITA and time consuming, but if I can do it...
