Default Repair Panels UK?

Anyone have any reliable sources for lower rear quarter repair panels in the UK?

I've finally managed to get my car in for "the odd bit of tidying up" and as per usual, a whole host of issues has emerged... "Total nightmare" doesn't quite cover it.
The bloody thing has been sitting there at my expense and a week later I'm no further forward on these panels, it's beginning to really test my patience!

At least I think Ive found someone who can do the rear bumper hanging brackets...

You could try Dave Roche at DCR Autoparts:

Ah yes, perhaps not.
You'll note my use of the word "reliable" above. If someone lets me down TWICE, I generally don't bother trying again.
I'm guessing he doesn't need the business...

Default Seems available on SnG Barratt on special order

MrGrey,

Sorry to hear about your bad experiences with DCR. My personal experiences are better, although prompt communication is not DCR's way. But he always came through in the end. If you're in a rush, DCR isn't probably the best choice.

I did look at our Forum Sponsor SnG Barratt when I did my body work, and it does show it but only on special order (so I guess patent parts). As labour is cheap in Bahrain, I went with local body work cutting and bending repair patches.

Good Day - this is Dave Roche of DCR AutoParts, a UK based Independent Jaguar Parts specialist focusing on the Jaguar X100 and X150 XK8 and R's. I am sorry if you feel I let down ref your post in 09 - 20. I don't have enough info from your post to go back through my emails and CRM system to see what happened here. I work hard to log in all enquiries into my system and respond to them. But as a one man business I can easily get overwhelmed with enquiries. I have to balance my time out between responding to enquiries, stock ordering, order management, shipping and business admin. As I am in my sixties I am not going to take on staff at this stage of life but have help from my family and I am am looking to make the business more efficient with online ordering this year. Perhaps if you need any parts or help or advice we can have another go. I have large stocks of new and used parts and am always working on new projects to support these great cars. I am also very fortunate in having make dome great friendships with like minded Jaguar enthusiasts throughout the world.

Regards,

Dave Roche

Dave,

Your post was automatically locked for moderation because it breaks forum advertising rules. The problem there being your website link. I've removed the link and approved the post so everyone can now see it.
