I have a 2001 xk8 convertible and would like to retro fit heated seats to it. I understand that this is quite easy to do (if I can find the parts). Is their a guide to doing this available anywhere ?

 

I'm currently adding aftermarket heaters to my '98. Dorman (part# 628-040) markets the ones I'm installing. I found mine on eBay for around $110/pair. I'm taking pics while I install them and re-dye the leather. Then again, I'm so far behind on posting my projects it may be a while before you see my work. They are fairly simple as long as you're comfortable doing upholstery work.

I believe Dorman also markets replacement heater pads for those that have dead factory heaters.
