Hi everyone. i'm the owner of XJL Supercharged 2010 and i love this car. The only thing what i'm really missing is soft close option.
I was trying to udentifiacate in the parts catalog waht i part exactly do i need to make retrofit this option but had no luck.
Does anybody did this retrofit allready to let me know what do i need to get it sorted?

word of warning : it kinda sucks

bear in mind : I loveeee my XJ. But if I didnt had the soft close doors, I wouldnt miss it at all.

My previous car ( BMW 750iL ) had soft door closing and it was great : you close the door slowly or medium speed and it would "dampen" the closing and they it closes by itself.

On the XJ however, if it is anything but a very gentle soft closing, they wont activate and the door will close with a "thump".

Put it this way : if I do not tell my passengers to be very very gentle, they never would know. Even my wife forgets about it.

So I would try a XJ to see if it is worth it
