Does any body the purpose of the rubber tabs on the rear frame pendulum bushings? I can't see that fill any function at all, nor that orientation should matter when it's installed.

My pendulum bonded bushes are original and the tabs (of the 2 lower visible ones) are both in a different angular orientation. One has Tabs at bottom, and the other approx 90deg rotated to the outside?! So not symmetrical and not handed - no obvious pattern.
