Default Running a cable from the boot of an XKR to the armrest console

I am in the process of fitting a new bluetooth handsfree kit to replace the built in car phone in my 2001 XKR convertible and I am going to connect the kit up to the CD changer in the boot to get streaming Bluetooth audio as well.

To do that I will need to run a stereo cable from the CD changer in the boot to the centre armrest console where the bluetooth module will fit.

My question is, does anyone have any handy hints as to the easiest way to run the cable?

Not sure in a convertible but in a coupe, there are some openings in the bulkhead between the rear seat and the boot.

I removed the rear seat and routed the cables out the rear of the console under the seat bottom and behind the seat back to one of those openings.

Good luck!

Take the same path through the rear bulkhead opening, over the rear deck and behind the rear seats as the convertible hydraulic pump cables. You will need to remove the rear seat. You can do the neatest job if you also remove the rear quarter interior trim, but it is not absolutely necessary.

Thanks for the replies. Hopefully it will be a nice neat installation and nothing will rattle afterwards.
