Seal Dayton or Truespoke spoked wheels for tubeless tires
I'm not sure there is any truly reliable way of sealing spoked wheels to take tubeless tires. It might be possible with modern materials and careful work (and assuming very clean and rust-free wheels), but I don't think I'd completely trust the result.
The bead part of the rim becomes a sealing surface when a tubeless tire is mounted, and I think the form of the bead is different for tubeless.
Realistically, I think you are stuck with tubes unless the wheels were actually designed to be run tubeless.

Went through this with Dayton tubeless after tightening one spoke.
I was able to seal that one nipple with 3M windshield adhesive. But agreed, tubeless wires can be a problem after a while depending on potholes, autocross etc.
