Default Seal on lower trans line at radiator

Can anyone tell me (or provide a picture) what sort of seal is used on the lower trans line at the radiator? Car is in shop as we speak. If mechanic can find a suitable seal he won't have to order entire new trans line. According to him jag dealer is saying seals are not available independently from whole new line.

looks like prior repair jury rigged a solution that is no longer working so mechanic is at a loss as to what is supposed to be there.

Short version is a simple o-ring. Careful, the o-ring needs to fit in the recess between the radiator fitting and the trans line. If it does not fit, it gets crushed by the outer nut on the line.

PS: my experience is with the later 4.2/ZF 6HP26. Must be similar on the earlier 5HP24...

Thanks for the info. I have a 2006 so your info was appropriate. After further review mechanic determined that the line was actually split underneath the coupling. So a new O-ring wasn't going to solve the problem anyway. I guess the Silver lining is I'm going to get a brand new line and my leak will be solved .
