I prefer the black interior. It hides everything much better than a lighter color interior. I haven't owned a Jaguar with light interior, but I have owned other cars with grey or tan leather and it shows wear and dirt and needs far more regular maintenance.

It's the opposite of having a gloss black exterior, which needs to be brushed every other day because it shows every little fingerprint and spec of dust. The light color interiors are much the same... lots of footwear dirt, and the leather seems to scuff or mar much more easily.

I'll never own a light color interior again, well except for the darker greys. They look good, but still require cleaning more often than a black interior, IMO.
