Should I buy a 2006 XK8???

Interesting seeing this thread which I started in 2010 get refreshed.
A little update....
I still own the 2006 Victory Edition I bought in 2010. It is still my daily driver. It had about 45,000 miles on it when I bought it. About 78,000 miles now. It has received excellent maintenance. It has needed some repair along the way, but it remains a wonderful car that I enjoy every time I drive it.
In post 16 I talked about my Mazda Miata. I ended up selling it to the wife of a college roommate just after I bought the XK8. I regretted selling it. I saw her last December and she told me she was thinking of selling the Miata. I asked why. She said she had only driven the car 2,000 miles in her five years of ownership. I bought the car back. It is perfect. I don't think I'll be selling it again.
