Shredded Donut
Sorry, not the good kind of donut. I got a flat and threw on the donut, it looked a little low but thought it would get me to the tire shop. About halfway there it was flat, kind of stuck at this point so I drove it the rest of the way which ruined the donut (not that it was so great to begin with).
My Jag guy suggested eBay for a replacement but I was wondering if anyone had other ideas? Are there different sizes? Look for a full size rim/tire? (My guy had a parts car that had a full sized in the trunk but it was the wrong rim).
Also, had anyone used a rim restoration service? I’ve got some scrapes on mine that I’d love to see cleaned up if it’s worth it. Thanks!

Hi silver, I always thought that Jaguar only put spare tires (normal rim, standard tire) on these cars. Why dont you just grab the spare from the parts car? Not clear if it doesn't fit it doesn't match the look.

To my knowledge, there are at least 2 sizes for the space saver. The "normal" one and the larger one to accommodate the bigger Brembo brakes. The normal ones are available on eBay for sure, the larger ones not so frequently.
I have seen car with a full size spare instead of the space saver. Not sure of the fit with the tool set and the rest of the trunk lining. It sounds best at first in case you have a flat on a long trip, but then again, the normal setup has different wheel widths front and back, so maybe the space saver is best. There are also those cans of goop for quick fixes if you do not mind the mess.

The trunk floor over the spare tire well has two levels, one to hold a spacesaver spare, the other to hold a full-sized wheel. I also managed to destroy a donut after getting a flat, but because I have a complete set of spare wheels thanks to buying a set of BBS Milans, I now have a full-size spare in case I need it. The trunk is now shallow as heck, but it's not like this is a Costco run car.
