Size and thickness of steering wheel - Xkr 2000
Anybody that has got the knowledge about size and thickness of steering wheel, xk8 and Xkr 2000 year model. Are size and thickness the same for both? I have the part leather, part wooden wheel

Hi Higgins, could you please say more? You may mean outside diameter, mounting hole, grip diameter...

They’re the same. Jaguar used what amounts to the same steering wheel in all the X308 and X100 cars.
The only differences are: leather wrapped vs wood rim with leather, and the colors. I once saw a wheel with the radio and phone buttons but I’m guessing that was either market or option specific.

Reasonable question. It is because the webshop selling the wraps only specify them for Xk8, not Xkr

Sorry, I thought I typed "without". Nearly every car I've seen, including my own, has the buttons, but I did see one XJ8 without the buttons.

Yup, for the majority of interior trim options, if you can get something for an XK8, it'll also fit an XKR, dimensionally at least. The one exception I can think of is seat covers, but even for XK8s you'd have to be careful to pick the right one for your year and option package.

Now I got the wrap in my hands, looks great and seems to be correct size. Only streched it over the steering wheel so far, sewing still to be done. Will get back with a report and pictures when ready
