FINALLY redid the front end and now I remember why I paid $55K for this car in '01! Unbelievable ride and handling! Started with the upper control arm bushings and ball joints ( I replaced the sway bar bushings with Poly years ago) and lost the clunking but the rattle in the steering wheel actually became more pronounced between 55 and 75 mph (?) All new tires (Conti Extreme contact DWS per Reverend Sam) and another wheel balance and lost the road noise but not the rattle. Replaced the lower control arm bushings and ball joints and noticed the shock bushings looked bad, so went ahead and installed new shocks as they were only $10 more than the bushings. Words can't express how good it feels to drive this car!!!
