Cool storing car for winter

hey forum, i'm taking my xk8 off the road for the winter and the drive way i have is on some what of a slope. would it be ok to leave the car like that for a few months or do you think it would hurt the engine cause of the slant with the fluids in the car. not sure if it would be better to back in or pull straight in ?? would you recomend putting the car up ramps on the part of the driveway that has the slope ?? any advice ?? tony

Don't worry about the slope. Make sure you install a battery tender though.

I have been dry storing my XKR for the last 2 years (soon into year 3), we have to seriously cover our cars or better still.....garage them over here. Stored outside and stationary on concrete will give you flat spots on the tyres (I use tyre savers like they use on caravans to prevent the flat spots), disks (rotors) will no doubt rust up with the damp, fluids won't be an issue but I would change the engine oil in prep for your new season of driving and most importantly spin the engine over without it firing up so you get the oil everywhere before letting her burst into life. Agree battery conditioner is a must and some old blankets over the seats to stop any possible damp or moisture build up on the leather.
This may not be the ideal but it works for me, after such a long sleep she never fails to burst into life.......shame I can't say the same for her in doors !! TS

Stable in the gas tank. Run it for a bit. Jack stands under the suspension. Battery tender.
