Default Suitable Ramps for 19" xk8

Hi there, looking for some recommendations on wheel ramps that would be suitable for both front and back 2006 XK8 victory edition 19" rims. Also, looking for floor jack and jack stand recommendations. thanks John

I use ramps made from a 2X10 planks screwed to two 4X4's with a ramp cut on one side. This gives it enough height to change the oil/filter and get a large floor jack underneath.

I don't trust any of the commercial ramps and most are not designed for low cars with wide tires.

Thanks, that's certainly an option. Yes, I have not been able to find a robust and wide metal ramp suitable for the low front end.

I have used Rhino ramps for years. Cheap, solid, and available everywhere. Looks like this:

Speaking in generalities, if your car's front end is that low, you might want to double check your upper strut mounts...

^^ I have a set of Rhino ramps as well. A sturdy, durable product that I use for all four of our vehicles when needed....

I have a nice set of Rhino ramps but was not able to use for either my previous car (1995 Corvette) or for the XKR since the low fronts on those cars interfere with the ramp. It used to be possible to buy ramp extenders but those are no longer available (or the ones that are available are ridiculously expensive). I know that I can kludge together a few pieces of wood to make my own extenders but have been to lazy to do so.

Try googling Race Ramps. Go for the biggest pair. There are some displays on Youtube too.
