Default suspension fault

The suspension fault light is showing on the dash. I connected an OBDII scanner to see if it showed any codes. I got nothing. Does the suspension system communicate through the OBDII system? If not what is the procedure for identifying and resolving suspension issues.

Yes the suspension module communicates through the OBDII port. (sort-of)

You need a device to read Chassis DTCs. ('C' codes)

A regular one only reads 'P' codes. (Powertrain)
