My '99 vert is about to have some surgery. I have already done entire new front suspension, new 20" rims and tires, new brakes and rotors all around, HID lights, parking sensors, top hydraulics, water pump and ABS module surgery. So all the regular things are as good as new and EVERYTHING works as expected. I'm taking her in for a mufflerectomy, taking out the center muffler,adding an X pipe, taking out the 2 small mufflers before the axle and leaving the stock rears. Wish her luck and I will respond post surgery.

 

Funny, I just had surgery and am doing my suspension rebuild right now myself lol.

 

I suggest taking a before/after video for the audio difference.

 

Good idea. Now someone going to have to show me how to upload a video from my phone !

 

I have considered similar action on my 2003 Coupe. Please let us know how you like the change. Definitely will listen to the clip with audio.
