Does anyone know if the Fel-Pro Lincoln LS Cam Cover gasket: VS50724R is compatible with the 2004 4.2 XKR engine?
I currently have a Mahle gasket and its leaking at the usual spot as well as at the front of the engine. Everyone recommends Fel-Pro for the 4.0 engines. Is there an Fel-Pro part number that fits the 4.2 supercharged motor?

I'm guessing by the lack of replies that no one knows. There's currently a closeout deal for the Fel-Pro Lincoln LS gaskets that I don't want to pass up. However, I also don't want to have to return gaskets and have the Jag benched while I wait for new ones to arrive.

The cylinder heads and cam covers are different. The Lincoln uses a Ford engine; the AJ33 and its variants used in the X202, X350 and X150 are Jaguar engines.

I know the AJ33 is a Jaguar engine, but so is the 3.9L V8 on the Lincoln LS. It's either an AJ30 or an AJ35 depending on the model year. I know the guys with the 4.0 engines use the Lincoln gasket to great success. However, if the Lincoln gaskets are incompatible with the AJ33, what brand valve cover gasket is best for my engine?

I am 97% sure that the FelPro will not work for a 4.2L.
Believe your options are limited to Mahle, URO or OEM, and among those I would probably go with the Jaguar part unless it was insanely expensive or entirely unavailable.

I recommend using the original Jaguar gaskets and seals. In my experience, the aftermarket ones tend to have a shorter service life.
