Default Full gasket set help!

I am putting a new engine in my 09 xfsc 4.2 and need a full gasket/seal set but can't find it ANYWHERE!

Anyone have a link to a well priced master gasket set for the engine and where it meets the transmission? Thanks a lot guys!

RenoJag usually have them, see here for example for valve cover gaskets and some other engine seals: https://parts.jaguarreno.com/v-2009-...-timing-covers
Just keep searching their site and you should find all the parts you need.

Ok, what happened to the original engine.. The 4.2 is known to be robust and doesn't grenade easily.

Water pump went and engine got hot, warped head.

Real fast any difference between the normal 4.2 and the SC besides the SC?

That will do it, car is totaled. Don't bother trying to fix it or swap it, it will cost more than a replacement SC car. With the overheat the entire block is suspect and may never run right even with new heads.

SC engine is very different, do a search on the S-Type forum for "STR swap" with many threads on this idea shot down.

They are getting cheap I got mine even for much less. Murdered out and ready to go, just delete the leaper.

I can't find what's different in those threads. They are talking ecu, transmissions, mounts, swaping between different vehicles, major stuff. But I have a XFSC, ecu everything is good for a sc.

Are the pistons different or something big? I'm thinking of saving 1000 buying a NA engine and moving my SC and its parts over then installing it to replace my bad SC motor. I can get a 35k mile NA XF 4.2 engine for 1600, installed 2000 with swapping my 4.2 XF sc onto it.

You think there will really be issues?

the will be no major issues if you put 4.2NA engine and 4.2SC supercharged until you go WOT. so if you drive less than 3500RPM it could be solution. by saying if you drive I mean ALWAYS. any single WOT and engine is done. high compression ratio engines and boost dont work well together.
