Tonneau Hold down clips
I need a couple of Tonneau hold down clips(original). I saw someone on this forum who had a link to a supplier(U.S. if possible). Could not find by searching(Operator factor?). Does anyone have this link or an address that I can order from?
Thx.
Thx.
Samthesham,
I don't know about any tonneau clips, however, years ago when I found that the tonneau was blowing quite a bit and air getting under it, i sewed three roughly 18" pieces of the hook side of velcro to the rear edge of the tonneau (one on each side and one in the middle). When I put the tonneau on I simply pull the three straps of velcro into the trunk pretty taut and flatten them against the felt of the trunk liner. The hook graps that felt and locks the tonneau in place. On the sides behind the rear window I used self adhesive velcro hook and stuck it under the lip of the rear haunch on each side where you can't see it, and sewed a 6" or so plush side of the velcro onto the front of the tonneau and I tuck that under the haunches to meet the hook side and voila, my problem is permanently gone. I will send along a picture later.

Thx. That was the site I was looking for. I had one that was damaged, and when I took the cover off for refurbishing 'someone'(????) lost the 2nd.
So far my cover works o.k., even at speed. I did do the rear seat delete, and the back 'bolster' hold the extra speakers seems to help deflect the wind. I also have a rear windscreen. So far, so good.....
