hi all,

i've got the water ingress issue on my xkr headlights. it been leaking for a while by the looks of it and has caused some corrosion at the front of the lens.

i've looked for a replacement headlight on ebay but even ones with more damage than mine are going for silly money.

i saw an xk8 on the road the other day, same age as mine with the new style headlight with the 'J' shape of LED trim lights.

is there a suplier of patern parts in the UK that does this (or standard replacement)?

or do newer model headlights fit the 1999 xkr?

i've done a fair bit of google searching and come up with nothing so far.

i did look at chrome spray thinking i would repaint in theinterior of the lens but i'm not convinced i would get hte relfective result needed for the headlight.

advice welcome...

 

New style headlights don't fit 99 XKRs. Adamesh and Paragon do running lights for the original lights. You can get away with a rechrome paint on some headlights. Pictures would help.
