Question Valve covers and Differential....

Graham, thanks for the diagrams. I understand the valve cover gaskets are a PITA to change out, would you agree? Because the differential drive oil plug is in a tough spot to reach do you have a "trick technique" to get it out and back in without having to drill a 3 inch hole thru the rear boot wall to directly access it? Can the breather vent on top the diff be cleaned out with break cleaner and then blow out with compressed air and reinstalled?
