Default Vinyl wrapping dash options.

Well, this should give everybody a good laugh!! I've been testing samples of vinyl wraps for my fascia. Started with the brushed titanium but is was damaged while we were changing the steering wheel to all leather, and I had to re wrap the shifter piece since I didn't prep it correctly so I've ordered several new styles!! Piano black, black and gold high gloss carbon fiber, and something really different!! Are you ready?

Brown Mica Crocodile textured wrap. Sounds crazy, but looked amazing! I saw a totally wrapped new Fiat and the finish was awesome! Not necessarily for a whole car, but interior, maybe!

My favorite is the gold and black carbon. But it doesn't wrap well. Very hard to get flat on the curved sides, tends to lift and buckle. I'm going to have my trim guy give it a try but I'm not holding out much hope. In the photo it looks very gold but its more like my exterior in person. More bronze.

The piano black looks like factory piano black but it does seem to get fine scratches like a paint job. But I've seen factory piano black dashes and they also have fine scratches from years of cleaning.

Nothing wrong with it.....about equal to all the other options you've tried. What the heck, change it up every month just for fun. Does that croc have a texture or is it an illusion?

It actually has a texture. It really looks like croc. There's a Bentley Gt wrapped in white. The entire exterior. It's the same wrap as the brown mica but a semi gloss white. They did the fascia as well. Vinyl wrapping dash options.-image.jpg

Yup. Whole car! I know it sounds hideous, but its actually mesmerizing! The Porsche is in the black and it comes in 4 colors. Black, white, mica grey, and mica brown. I think it actually looks more like python than croc, especially in the two metallic colors.
It's either going to look freaking awesome on the fascia, or REALLY bad!!

I think it is stunning used on the interior panels!! This is in the Bentley.
I first thought black for my interior but since the new color is a black bronze, the mica brown croc would be a great accent color and contrast with all the black leather.

Try a hairdryer on low heat when working the corners, it helps you stretch the material.

I've wrapped tons of stuff but always used 3m. This gloss carbon gold simply won't stick!! No matter how hot or tight I get it. It's like the air channels let it lif back up. Shame too because it looks so real in person. It's not 3m.
