Just about to finally (I hope) fit the rear suspension to the Xkr again, 15 months after removing the entire subframe

Since so many months has passed I don't remember how the washer for rear shock absorber - lower mount should go.

Looking at Sng Barratt and other sources but their images won't reveal anything, just showing there is only one washer but not where its supposed to sit. Where I positioned it in the picture below (washer painted orange) next to the nut? Or at the other side of the shock bushing between the wishbone and the bushing?

You are correct. Single Washer (50mm diameter) goes in that position as shown.
