Welcome Me! I just bought my XK8!!!

Hi everyone, my name is Peter and I am thrilled to be the new owner of a 1999 Jag XK8 convertable. Its Silver w/ black top and two tone light brown and oatmeal? interior. Real sexy and sweet. Traded in my 99 996 coupe for this beauty. it has under 60k miles.
Anything I should do or look for right off the bat as preventive care (mechanical or whatnot...) thanx everyone.

Id drop in a new battery, they tend to be a little sensitive as it gets older and may start throwing random errors. Also cooling, have all you cooling system checked, pressure tested and replace anything instantly, they are a very hot car and cooling often lets them down.
Other than that well done on the purchase and by now im sure youve worked out why we love them so goddamn much.
