Hi

My wheels could do with a refurbish, but I can't decide on if I should stay with the silver or go for a dark metalic grey or even black/ smoked chrome (definately won't be polished chrome).

If anyone has pictures of simular options on their car, or can even photoshop my picure I would appreciate it.

Had your car been a darker colour then I would have gone for the metalic grey, perhaps not the black.
However, as it is a light colour then I would look at the black chrome.

My own preference is always to go stock, purely because thats the way it was supposed to be and I quite like that.

Just my own opinion but as always, it is entirely up to you.

That photo bucket thingy may be a good idea though, at least you could try different colours.

Stay with silver. Black is a recent colour for wheels and doesn't look right on our 'old' XK8/Rs.

 

I agree, black just doesn't look right, sparkly silver would my choice...

 

hypersilver...not the basic 'gray'...the wheel refurbisher tried that once on two of my xk8 wheels. Back they went with one of other two that I still possessed as a go-by, because they apparently didn't color match them BEFOREHAND. If you want something different, why not go with new black growler centercaps, or dare to do the red?
