Default What the fuse!

Hi Chaps, Great to be back. Have not had too much Jaguar time recently, new wife and all. Well finally I managed to get back in the garage for some quality tinkering. I have a 1990 XJ40 and a 2000 XKR, both of which have been sitting around for several months.
Battery reconnected on the XJ6 and it fired up on the first turn. I took it for an hours drive and boy did it feel good. I forgot how smooth and classy these old cars are. It sure gets a lot of admiring glances,or maybe it's me they're looking at! Nope I don't think so.
Likewise I fired up the XKR with a fully charged battery and guess what not a single code to be seen, miracle of miracles! Same thing, I took it for a ride half expecting at least one code. Nope nothing, it ran as sweet as you like. Smashing car this, I love it.
Anyway I will get to the point of this long post. Prior to laying the XK up I ordered a new boot plinth as the old one had cracked. I sourced one on Ebay for £30 and duly repainted it and fitted it to my car. The trouble is some where along the line I think I blew a fuse as the new bulbs I fitted are not working and the left hand brake light is out too.
What is the deal with Jaguar? Trying to find a wiring digram for this car is crazy. You would think technical information on what is a 17 year old model would be easy to find, or am I just too dumb to find it?
Anyway can anyone point me in the direction of what fuses if any may be blown. Any help much appreciated, thanks. Dave.

You can download the vehicle care manual, which has fuse locations, from the How To sticky. The electrical guide may be there also, or go to jagrepair.com.

here's the diagram for my 03, probably the same as your 00 but please confirm.

Fuse #19 and the plate lights and the right hand tail light share the same fuse.
