What to look for when buying a XK?

We're looking at buying a 98-99 Xk8. What should we look out for? troubles, known issues etc...

Searching would help. Here are a few key words

Nikasil lineres. Tensioners. Cars from up north, brought down south to be sold as "southern rust-free cars".

So there is Gunk that build up on the cylinder rings and causes low compression? Is this particular years or all of them. That sounds like a major problem. That would make me not want to get one.
