I have a 2006 XK8 Ragtop, and I find it a statistically interesting car. What I mean is that it looks like they did not make very many 2006 XK8/Rs, and although this poll groups them with the 2007-2009s, it really is more like (if not identical to) a 2005. I am wanting to install the LSI relief valve roof hydraulic retrofit, but they advertise that it fits 1997-2005. Via some email correspondence, LSI has told me that 2006 was a sort of transition year and they've never seen one, so they don't know if it will fit. I'm pretty sure it will, but I'm going to look at the system carefully before I order the kit.
