Default Where is the convertible top mechanism?

Have recently acquired my 1996 XK8 convertible and thought it would be a good idea to familiarise myself with the manual closure of the top....I wouldn't like to get caught with the top down, starting to rain and the top closure doesn't work.
The book says the convertible top lift pump is behind the right hand side trim panel in the luggage compartment. The only trouble is, all I can see there is the CD stacker. No trim panel fasteners that you release with a coin like the book says.
Can anybody help me out with this?

There is a rack behind that carpet trim piece in which the CD changer is mounted. The top pump is mounted at the top of that rack. The carpet-like trim just pulls out. I don't remember any fasteners holding it in place.

The only "fastener" is the RH rear light cluster. Pull the little plastic cover straight out, ease out the cluster while releasing the two locking pins. Then the right hand trim can be pulled out gently, revealing the hydraulic pump and audio amp (if premium system is installed)
