Just replaced cam cover gaskets on my 4.2l 2003 xk8. When I removed the connectors to the VVTs both locking tabs broke. Same thing happend to a couple of the coil pack connectors. I would like to replace the plastic parts. Does anyone know of a source and /or part# for the various connectors?

fmertz was spot-on with this recommendation - the new electrical connectors fit perfectly with no cutting, crimping, or soldering required. Be sure to order several of them. These old plastic clips will continue to break....

 

Slightly off topic but ...

I find it way too coincidental that immediately after I clicked on this thread for the first time I start seeing adds for wiring connectors.

F-ing e-commerce parasitic over-watch is becoming too invasive - all under the guise of "convenience". I hope the pendulum starts swinging back soon.
