Default XK8 door popping sound

2005 XK8
I fear I have some 'popped' spot welds! When opening the drivers door I hear a clicking sound as the door fully opens. Te door pillar also appears to flex out quite a bit.
Is there any way to repair this without removing the door and/or fender?
or rather...how does one fix this issue?

A regular cause of clicking is a broken door checkarm .......

I have this too

It was on both doors but tightening the bolt on the pillar fixed the passenger side, but not the drivers side.

I have changed the check arm on cars in past to solve this but on my XK8 I too have noticed the amount flex in the pillar which made me doubt its just the check arm

My 98 XK8 started doing this a few days ago, then today a nut fell out (#7 in the photo) when I opened the door. My job for the weekend: Off comes the panel to sort this out. Might be simply securing fasteners, might be something broken. I'll find out and report.

2005 XK8 same problem. GGG thanks for the exploded door view.
Yes the Checkarm was loose on my car, so I used a 10mm socket to tighten the bolt in TINY increments... test and slightly tighten again if needed.
3 times was the charm for me.
