Was driving my 1998 XK8 last month, stopped at a stop light and car stalled. Had trouble re-starting and when did, chugged like it was fuel starved. Thinking it was one of 3 things: vapor lock, fuel filter, or fuel pump. Had car towed to home, charged battery, and tried starting the next day. Same symptoms. Vapor lock ruled out, guessing must be 1 of the other 2 causes? How easy to fix, or what estimate to have garage fix?

 

Do you have any codes? Also can you check for fuel pressure?

 

Don't ignore maf sensor, if the plug comes loose, it will stumble and ran very rough.
