Hi i am new to this, I have an XK8 coupe 2002 with 98k. was driving fine but engine mgt light came on, no limp mode or loss of power and went thru gears fine. Put genden on and torque converter problem so sent torque converter to UK for refurb. My local garage changed gearbox oil and filters i was assured oil fill up was per book procedure but he used dextron3 from SASH? whoever they are. Put back onto road and it revs up then clonks into gear goes up the road and clonks into another gear and now it has a zizzing sound as it goes allong.
i hope its not the worst answer!! new gear box

Just for openers, shouldn't the ATF be LT71441?

Castrol transmax import multi-vehicle might be available. But please don't drive the car until this issue is resolved.
