XK8 Headlight (switch?) issue
I took my beautiful wife in my beautiful new Jag for a moonlight drive last night - first night drive.
Didn't work out so well.
I found several problems (will work with the seller to resolve them). I'd like some input about the main one.
Headlights:
In Auto mode, the headlights come on properly, but turn off when I switch the turn signal.
In regular headlight mode, the headlights did one of several things:
When switching from Hi-beam to Lo-beam the lights would dim significantly right after the switch.
OR (more disturbingly) a few moments after switching to Lo-beam the headlights would turn off. Completely. And then come back on. Pretty disturbing.
I'm not positive as to whether the headlights turned off when just left on low beams - we drove home on Hi-beams (sorry to the few other drivers I met) because the Hi-beams stayed on and the Lo-beams would flip off and on.
Any help with this would be very, very welcome. My thought would be something in the light/turnsignal switch, but I dunno...
The other issues - interior lights.
Several controls were only partially lit. I'm guessing that's a bulb replacement job.
The temperature panel (where you adjust the heat or cooling) was not lit at all, so it was a matter of "click it a few times until it feels right".
Thanks in advance for any light you can shed on this (pun intended).

The turn signal stalk has been known to pinch wires and have a short or loose connector, it's easy it open up, two screw under the cowl and the top/bottom pieces behind steering wheel will come apart, you can then 'view' the situation.
Do a search on bulbs or look at the DIY sticky thread, it will have links on how to change/check the other lights.
