Hi, can anyone advise if headlight units/lenses are interchangeable?
I am repairing a 2005 with the darker headlight inserts and wanted to know if I could change them out for the earlier pre 2003 units without any electrical or fitment issues?

The early XK8's were fitted with Halogen HB3 main and H1 dip headlamps. The 2005 HID (high intensity discharge) headlamp is considerably more complex with a self leveling and ballast module. Outward appearance is where any similarity ends.
