XK8 louver vents

XK8 louver vents
Hi guys, does anyone know how to remove the center dash vents? some of the louvers are not turning when moving the lever handle. I appreciate ever comment on this,

The wood panels pries straight forward and then you will find behind them the fasteners holding the louvers in place.
