I have a 2001 XKR with a faulty rearview mirror. I ordered a secondhand gel type mirror and received it with 3 wires - black, purple/dark brown and a lighter brown wire - part number #015904. My unit has an adjusting knob on the back and 5 wires - grey, white, yellow, black and green and # 011530. As I recevied this from the USA - I live in South Africa - I would like to know has anyone connected the three wire unit into a five wire harness? My unit also has a rain sensor but these have an additional 3 wires to the five I have mentioned. Please help.
