XKR front brakes on XK*

XKR front brakes on XK*
There was a recent Wheeler/Dealer program where they refurbed an early XK8 adding the XKR brakes to their XK8. Edd said they cost 2000 pounds. Any sources we know of in the us and would it be worthwhile?
