xkr gearbox curiosity
Sometimes l pass the time by entering random vin numbers extracted from used car adverts into etis. Did it recently for XKR and it returned a build date of march 30 1998, engine listed as the correct 4 litre SC gas but gearbox was listed as 5 speed ZF5HP24.
Were some very early cars so equipped before a change to the MB gearbox?
