Will 04 XKR heads work on a 01 XKR. I know the 04 is a 4.2 and the 01 is a 4.0 but the engines are generally the same. What differences if any between the heads and if there is can the 04 be adapted to the 4.0.

 

The intake is changed with different port locations and I believe that the cam position sensor is made differently. Cams are also slightly different in their profile.
