XK's ???
Y'all, not much of an enthusiast on newer stuff yet, but ran across a 2004 XK8 today that seems very reasonably priced. I might consider it, as they are beautiful cars. Anyone know these cars well enough to tell what to look out for and what is a reasonable price range? 43,032 miles, everything is currently working properly and it runs out good.
Thnx,

Jump onto the XK forum...... there's an FAQ and buyers guide in the stickies.
Interestingly, while I was suffering from my overheating problems and beginning to think I wasn't going to get my XJS alive again, I looked at XKs and I couldn't believe how cheap they were....... there was a very nice 2001 car near me with 60k miles on it for around 10k. This seemed to be amazing value compared to what I was going to have to pay for a good XJS (along with all of its "unique characteristics")
(Thankfully my XJS is BACK !! and I'm very glad for it)

A 2004 with those few miles???? Nice! Yes, the prices are way down, probably due to the fact that these can be expensive to repair, and the early models have well know issues. The good news is that any person with some mechanical proficiency should be able to address most of the common issues, especially with all of the help and info here! The really good news is that these cars are basically very reliable. The best news is that you can buy a $67,000 car for ??????.!! I gave $13,500 for mine with 97k on it just a month ago.
