Default You can put 3 in the back seat

For those who doubt the usefulness of the back seat in an XK8 I offer this photo as proof that you can get 3 in the back.

Nice, but my dog prefers to drive:

She aims for squirrels.

You know, with such a sleek and desirable car, you will find that you can now upgrade your taste in women.

Kidding. Thanks for the pic.

With her XK8's top down, my wife buckles our 30-pound English Cocker Spaniel into his harness for safety, and he'll ride around all day and all night. He loves it....

Our 110-pound, 6'4" tall (standing on his hind legs) retired racing Greyhound is a completely different story. No way he fits back there, and he hates to ride in ANY vehicle. I have to force him into my truck whenever I need to haul him somewhere. We've had him since November 2006 - he still despises riding now as much as he did then....

These pictures remind me of the evening long ago when I was following a Porche 914 down a slight hill into my condo complex. With the building lights ahead of the Porche all I could see from the back were the silhouettes of the driver and passenger, and I could clearly tell the passenger had her hair done up in a permed "big hair" do. Well, I thought, he got lucky. Until, that is, his passenger turned her head to look adoringly at the driver and I saw the the most humongous nose I had ever seen. Oh my, for an instant I was thinking "that woman's got a nose on her", but I as quickly realized that the man was driving around with his standard poodle sitting up in the passenger seat. I almost ran my car into the curb laughing so hard.

This forum's going to the dogs...

Steve

Great pics DaveC and Datru!

Looks like I'll have to get my dog (and cat) out to see if I can come up with something to add to this thread!
