Default ZF 5HP24 manual - very helpful blow-ups

I found this very helpful in understanding the internals of our transmission. It is a down loadable pdf.

I tried it and the link just brings up a blank page. Try jagrepair.com, there is parts diagram/list and a repair manual, no blankpages

I tried it on two different computers and it worked fine. It may be your web browser security setting or you don't have the most recent version of Adobe PDF as it is a PDF document.
However, knowing another source is good.

thanks for the manual. interesting as on page III it states that the transmission has been filled with life-time oil. Then directly below in bold it states that the oil does not have to be changed until it has been in use for ten years. ignoring that this is rather vague, they might be implying that they based their expected life-time on a ten year service life for the vehicle which for standard vehicles is not that uncommon, statistically in Europe. Fluids get old and collect contaminants regardless of mileage. Among ourselves it sounds like a good idea to recommend to everyone something along the lines of 6 yrs or 60K whatever comes first.

More of a rebuild manual than repair. There doesn't seem to be anything on diagnostics. I agree with Mike, useful but I hope I never need it.
I have a P0741 code right now. Might be solenoid or the torque converter..... god forbid.....
