This rod with two ball joint ends controls the flaps. The ball screw on the right worked it’s way loose. The flap would not close and would get jammed with the top upon opening

There are two 50 cent micro relays. I will check which one is defective. I spent $30 for used fusebox from eBay from a wrecked 2015 coupe.

There are two micro relays, I would guess they cost about 50 cents each. I will test them to see which one is defective but I would just replace both of them. Cheap repair for a part that Jaguar would charge $250 for the part and $200 labor if the could diagnose the problem. I spent $30 for the part on eBay from a wrecked 2015 coupe.

The relay is integral to the fusebox. You need to replace entire fusebox. It may be possible to disassemble the fusebox and replace the relay with a generic relay but I did not try to do this.
