Looking good so far. As you already know this Jag is kind of a cute jynx, so the Alcantara supplier sent the wrong color, twice! The proper one arrived today. By the way, it’s not the original color, I choose a slightly darker one.

Just in case anyone need the Child seat trim frame bezel bracket covers Rivero just found the proper OEM parts. It seems Jaguar Land Rover changed the part number. $ 25.00 a piece from the dealer. Jynxie’s crumbled while I was cleaning them.

My mechanic replaced three tire pressure sensors and reflashed the cluster or something like that. Everything works again. I’m pretty sure this cluster will strike back again. He wants $390 for the job, I think it’s a little step.

Cluster went nuts again. I just bought a “new” one on ebay. Will keep you posted. This car is over budget now.

The speedometer kept behaving like crazy. Hot head as I am I bought a used one on ebay. Then, thanks to these great forums, I learn that there is no way to switch them without some programing. Abdi, my mechanic (yes, the very same one that left that the car fell from the lift) recommended me to call Leo’s Speedometer Inc in Meddley, FL. Eddie, the manager, is an intrument cluster master. They work for Florida Highway Patrol and many LE agencies.

Well, he called me telling me that he would need to disasemble the radio and many other parts to get to the cluster. Four gauge drivers replaced. The only faulty one was the speedometer. Eddie recommend me to replace all four since they would eventually fail and the price different wasn’t that much.
